Critical thinking is a widely accepted educational goal achieved by careful and attentive thinking activities. It offers an analytical approach to problem solving activities and promotes open mindedness throughout the learning processes.

It has been recommended based on respect for person’s autonomy and preparation for success in life as well as for democratic citizenship. Its importance affects both preparation and implementation of youth work activities, since it can be perceived as a foundation that affects the direction and level of success of the learning processes.

When promoting entrepreneurial activities in youth work, critical thinking methods and skills come in handy in each and every kind of activity, providing a deeper understanding of the relevant topics.

Even though it has been used and promoted since ancient times, the new research shows that modern times ask for modern approaches.
